Place cards and QR find-your-seat codes
How Seated by Tini prints guest place cards with QR codes. Each guest scans their card to open a page showing their table number, a map of the room and who they're sitting with — no app to download and no sign-in, and the page stays current if you reseat someone after printing.

Place cards (Print menu) are the guest-facing counterpart to name labels: once everyone is seated, print elegant cards showing each guest’s name and table — no planner color-coding, just stationery.
What’s on a card
- The guest’s name and, below it, their table assignment (“TABLE 9”) — toggle the table line off if you prefer name-only cards.
- Card stock options are rectangular Avery formats: 5302 (2″×3.5″ tent card), 5392 (3″×4″ badge), and 5160(1″×2.625″ card label).
- By default only guests with a table assignment get a card (a note tells you how many were skipped). Sort alphabetically or by table.
Themes
- Simple (free) is a clean white card. Elegant, Noir, Blush, and Garden are premium designs with serif typography and coordinated palettes.
- Design your own with AI (premium): describe your event’s style — “navy and gold art deco gala” — and a matching palette is generated and saved as a new style chip. Each design counts as one AI generation.
- Saved styles belong to the event: keep the ones you like, delete the rest with the × on the chip, and tweak any of them with the color pickers and serif/sans toggle.
QR “find your seat”
Turn on the QR option (premium) and every card gets its own scannable code. A guest points their phone camera at it and lands on a public page — no app, no sign-in — showing:
- Their name and table,
- a map of the room with their table highlighted (and landmarks like the stage and bar for orientation), and
- who they’re seated with.
The page always shows the current arrangement — a last-minute seating change doesn’t invalidate cards you’ve already printed. Guests without a personal card can use the same link without a QR parameter to search their name.
The public page only ever shows guest names and table assignments — never dietary notes, RSVP status, gifts, or anything else you track.
