Sharing and collaborating on a seating plan

How to share a Seated by Tini event by email: read-only viewers on the Celebration pass and Pro, plus multiple simultaneous editors on Pro, so a partner, family, a planner or the venue coordinator all see the same live plan instead of emailed screenshots.

Planning with a partner, a parent, or a client? The Share button in the event header (owner only) invites people by email.

Roles

  • Viewers can open the event and look at everything — the room, the guest list, every arrangement — but can’t change anything. A banner reminds them they’re in read-only mode. Available on Celebration and Pro.
  • Editors can make changes just like you (seating, guests, the room). Adding editors requires the Pro plan.
  • Only the owner can invite or remove people and manage billing for the event.

How invites work

  • If the person already has an account under that email, they get access instantly.
  • If not, the invite waits — the moment they sign up with that email, the event appears for them.
  • Shared events show up on their dashboard under “Shared with me” with a role badge.
  • Remove someone (or cancel a pending invite) any time from the same Share dialog.
