Sharing and collaborating on a seating plan

Roles

• Viewers can open the event and look at everything — the room, the guest list, every arrangement — but can’t change anything. A banner reminds them they’re in read-only mode. Available on Celebration and Pro.
• Editors can make changes just like you (seating, guests, the room). Adding editors requires the Pro plan.
• Only the owner can invite or remove people and manage billing for the event.

How sharing works

• You send the link, not us.Enter someone’s email address and the app creates a private link for them. Copy it and send it however you normally reach them — text, email, WhatsApp. No invitation is sent automatically.
• They need a free account, created with the exact address you entered. The link won’t open for any other address — if they sign up as something else, they’ll see a page explaining why, and you can add them again under the address they actually used.
• A free account is enough to view anything shared with them, and an event shared with someone doesn’t count against their own plan’s event limit.
• Anyone who hasn’t opened their link yet stays listed as pending, with Copy link beside them — so you can always send it again without setting the share up from scratch.
• Shared events show up on their dashboard under “Shared with me” with a role badge.
• Remove someone (or cancel a pending invite) any time from the same Share dialog.
